Actually, historians are sure exactly when the electric washing machine was made. Alva J Fisher was incorrectly credited with the invention in1907, but US patent records show a patent before his. His invention, The Thor was mass produced in 1908. Some say the cost was the same as a small car. But others say it was between 10 and 20 dollars. The first machine in 1847 cost 2.50.
