I think you should call an electrician
don't ever try to became an electrician. your minor mistake can cause a severe problem. I will suggest you that seal your electric socket by electric tape till your electrician comes.

If one can not be found.. try turning the power off at the master switch of yor house and dry it out with some toweling or something
