Usually after 6 pm.When is the best time to use yr washing machine for savin the cost of electric bill in North York, Toronto?
Summer, you can lione dry outdoors!
At night anywhere cause it puts off heat and makes your AC work harder during the day where as at night it gets a bit cooler and does not have to work as hard to keep your house cool.
I'm in Ohio and I'm able to save roughly $75 a month just by running my major appliances seperate.. I do all my laundry at night..After 9pm I run only the washer/dryer but, not both at the same time.. Usually while the dryer is running I'm soaking the next load.. I also use cold water for everything except whites.. I also run my dishwasher only when there's a full load about every other day (family of 4) and I run it on time delay so it runs around 4am.. I have most of my appliances (tv,vcr, stereo, and game consoles) plugged into surge protector strips that I shut off at night as well as cell phone plugs and lamp.. This saves on things you don't use all the time, but still need.. Change your lightbulbs to CFL's and save roughly $60 a yr. per bulb... I've been doing this for a little over a yr. and have seen a pretty good savings. Good luck
