Wash face before or after electric-shaving?

I have a face wash I use every morning as part of an acne regimen. I shave with an electric razor -- should I be washing my face before or after I shave?

I've always washed after, because I feel like it closes things up when I'm done, but at the same time, would washing before render my hairs drier and easier to cut? I have difficulties with razor burn and razor bumps with my current method...Wash face before or after electric-shaving?
Shave first but use lots of shaving cream. When I shave my legs I always use shave first and then use a body scrub and I've never had a razor bump problem.Wash face before or after electric-shaving?
Shave after you wash your face...the acid used in the face wash can dry your skin...its best used IN the shower when your pores are opened the most. Also if you wait until after u shower the hair on your face will be softer and allow for a closer shave. Your after shave will help moisturize your skin and stop the irritation from the shave. If you wash your face AFTER you shave your skin is more prone to dryness and irritation.
