I wash a load of clothing BEFORE bedtime AND dry it when I get up around 5:30pm or have my husband put the clothes in the dryer when he gets up for work....
What also saves money on the electric bill is NOT using more than ONE major appliance at a time.... So, if you are doing laundry either use the WASHER or the DRYER but, not at the same time! Or running the dishwasher while either washer/dryer is running! I'll generally SOAK the next load of clothing while the dryer is running....The clothes come out cleaner/brighter and pretreaters work better! My electric bill has gone down from $114.00 per month--- $80 per month just by doing this!
I also try NOT to dry clothes when the air conditioner is on- since it ';heats'; up the house... AND I hang dry items like jeans, pants and heavy weight shirts.... I run a small fan to circulate air around the laundry room!
Using small appliances like crockpot and toaster oven use up a lot less energy than using the full size stove/oven...
good luckWhat time should i wash my clouth to save my electric bill?
Depending upon your electric company. Some will charge you less for electricity during non peak usage like in the early morning hours. Some charge the same no matter what time of day. You need to contact your company to clarify the issue. What time should i wash my clouth to save my electric bill?
Your machine is not ever going to use less electricity.
The only reason to do your laundry at a different time, i.e. evenings, is to reduce the load on the electric grid.
during the early mornings before 6 am on weak ends to that the, normally people would not wake up that early and washing machine would also consume less electric bill
whenever but dont use the washing machine to much that should save you electric
In non peak hours, better during day.
all time costs the same
